Bach’s Brandenburg Concertos are a cornerstone in Western classical music, showcasing the genius and craft of the celebrated composer with a wide array of instrumental combinations. Red Dot Baroque celebrates their 5th anniversary with a complete presentation of all 6 concertos, performed on period instruments for the first time in Singapore!

RDB musicians take turns at the spotlight with the wide variety of solo roles across all concertos. Also joining us are our friends from Europe: natural horn players Nicolas Roudier (FR/NL) and Stefan Blonk (NL), baroque trumpeter Danny Teong (SG/NL) and recorder player Aik Shin Tan (MY/NL).

We will perform all 6 concertos on 3 September.

On 2 September, we present “6 Brandenburgs in 60 Minutes” – for young maestros, those new to classical music or seeking to delve deeper into the Brandenburg Concertos! Through engaging narratives, we will unveil the fascinating stories behind the work and present a movement from each concerto, offering a unique insight into Bach's timeless creations.
